Digital platform for BMW Group employees covering brand behavior guidelines and strategic content. Consistent experience across smartphones, tablets, and desktops, with distinct visual identities for BMW and MINI.

Challenge

BMW Group needed to standardize brand behavior knowledge across the organization with a secure, accessible tool that could communicate complex brand strategies while keeping employees engaged.

My Role

As Lead Full-Stack Developer and UI Designer, I built the core 3D rendering engine using WebGL and Three.js (extending my bachelor thesis research on interactive 3D PWAs), designed the gamified learning interface, and implemented the responsive frontend. I also developed backend services for content management and user progress tracking.

Solution

A progressive web app with multilingual brand strategy content, gamified learning modules, editorial content on brand evolution, a visual timeline of brand heritage (including MINI’s journey from 1959 to today), and customer-focused sections. The responsive design reflects BMW and MINI’s distinct visual identities.
