Project Overview

Cloud-based mobile learning platform for Allianz Versicherungs AG, used by 3,000+ claims department employees. Won the eLearning AWARD 2020 in the “Personal Learning Environment” category.

Challenge

The platform needed to deliver 600+ modular training units with BYOD access, encourage voluntary engagement through gamification, allow non-technical staff to manage content, and provide analytics for tracking progress. All of this had to meet DSGVO (GDPR) data protection standards.

My Role

As Full-Stack Developer, I built core features across the entire stack: the mobile-first frontend, backend services for content delivery and user progress tracking, the gamification engine (quizzes, learning cards, competitions, and the “Allianz Tower” progression game), and the analytics dashboard for real-time individual and organizational progress tracking.

Solution

A mobile-first learning application with built-in game mechanics, a custom CMS so training teams could manage all 600+ modules without developer involvement, and analytics for personalized learning plans and compliance tracking.
